is it possible
is it possible for computers or robots or wat ever requires us to type in those funkky codes, to get an account and reply to for sale items? JUST wondering because I am sellign a car, and am curious. any insight on the topic is much appreciated.
Is it likely? No.
Spammers usually are trying to sell something, not buy something. Just use common sense, if the offer seems sketchy just ignore it and move on.

There are actually a lot of scams that involve someone buying an item you have for sale. In one instance they want to send you a cashiers check for more than the item is worth and have you cash it and send the difference back. I see this ALL THE TIME at my check cashing store. The checks are counterfeits and you get stuck with no money, no item, and a counterfeit check charge. They get the item and the money that you sent back.
Like eng said just use common sense.
