Wickham Avenue Alliance Car Show for Charity August 31, 2008
Help support the Wickham Avenue Alliance of the southeast end of Newport News and the wonderful programs they offer and continue to work on keeping our kids safe from gang violence and giving them something to do for free.
August 31, 2008 at Doris Miller Community Center.

“Classic Race to the Finish”
Classic & Modern Car Show Entry Form
Date: Sunday, August 31, 2008 from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Location: Doris Miller Community Center – 2814 Wickham Avenue, Newport News, Virginia
Entry Fee: $25 per car ~ Limited to the first 100 cars ~ Oldies and Imports
Registration begins at 9:00 a.m. ~ Prizes & Awards at 4:00 p.m.
Admission: Free
Barbecue Hamburgers, Hotdogs, Chips, Cookies, & Soda will be available at the event
Join us for the Live and Silent Auctions. Donations appreciated!!
All proceeds will benefit the Wickham Avenue Alliance for children in the Southeast Community of Newport News. The Wickham Avenue Alliance was designed to help children and give children a place to play, work on homework, and keep busy while out of school emphasizing keeping kids off the streets and away from every day violence and temptations of gangs!

LIABILITY: Entrants, participants and spectators hereby release the City of Newport News, Newport News Chamber of Commerce, Doris Miller Community Center, Newport News Parks, Rec & Tourism, Wickham Avenue Alliance, the State of Virginia and staff from any and all damages, injuries, losses and claims suffered by entrant, family or guests to his person or property. Entrants who will participate in the Classic Car Show agree to follow any and all safety rules and regulations. I have read and agree to all the conditions and rules governing this event. I agree all music will be provided by event holder and that no individual’s music will be allowed. I agree to observe all decisions of the event holder staff.
