I just wanted to make sure there was a specific thread thanking those that came out yesterday to support CHKD. I can't say enough about what the sponsors do to make these events successful and memorable. Josh over at TPE, Mike and Mike at Longshots and Chris, Darrius, Darnell and rest of crew at Dyno Inc. you guys are great. I personally had a great time at each location and from what i have read/heard thus far everyone else has too.

Thus far the event has raised $1861. We still have to collect from Dyno Inc the donation from the dyno pulls. They were kind enough to donate a portion of each $30 dyno run to CHKD. We still have the Poker Run t-shirt sales (please buy a shirt and come to dinner ) and hopefully a % of the dinner total bill for when we give out the shirts. So outstanding thus far.

We had a great time, again I appologize to anyone whos food was forgotten, wrong when we got to Longshots, I know there were one or two.

One guy had to bang out 50 orders that he got all within 5 mins, and his help came in saw the crowd and said fuck this .... and quit.

Like I said in the other thread, I will personally pick up the next meal, drink at the next event at Longshots for those couple people that were unfortunatly forgotten about.

This was Longshots second time working with TTE, and myself as well as the owner definatly like to thank all the TTE guys for putting on yet another awesome event, and being able to raise a nice chunk of change for CHKD.

Glad we could help out, and you can definatly count us in for future events.

Custom Car Care just came thru with a big donation..totally unexpected! Great people over there at CCC...thank you so much Brady! So now we are about 2G's collected for the event with t-shirt/dinner still to come!

any thougts to the next one. i just saw what this is all about and im down for the next one. got my friend in on it too.. this is an exellent idea, wish i would have found out sooner.

 

probably not till the fall or spring '09...TTE is working on car show for the fall. we will have a car wash or two over the summer for CHKD also.
