Default Suntrust Indy Challange, RIR

Anyone going to this? It's this saturday night, the 30th. Marlboro was once again nice enough to toss me a couple free tickets to go...had a great time the last couple years! I tried to convince the wifey to let me bring Danica home with me last year...she told me ok, but security told me no!!

Wasn't sure if anyone else was going or not. More info on http://www.rir.com

Sweet! I had a great time last year. I was hoping to get there early so I could get the free pit passes, but the wife doesn't even want to leave until 4ish...

Now I know why I couldn't find my post, it got moved. I posted it in the cycle section because that's the people I know, but always good to meet others!

One of my buddy's was in Spain a few years back...Those cars go well over 200mph. He had some awesome pics of the brake rotor glowing bright orange from stopping at those speeds!

I believe that they only get to 185 or so at Richmond, still fast enough for me!

Saturday was a yawn fest...Dario made it look too easy. He led all but about 3 laps of the race. Couple yellow flags to break up the monotony, but nothing major. It's good there weren't any wrecks (one car hit the back straight) because that means no one got hurt, but it sure does make for some boring racing!!
