Saturdays At The Shop

My shop will be having another SATS night May 10th, 2008. What is SATS you say? Well I keep the shop open from 9pm til 1am or whenever it seems to be dying off to do some late night dyno'ing. Anyone and everyone is welcome to come out to the shop and hang out, look at some cars, meet some people, and watch everyone leave disappointed at their horsepower numbers! Fun for all! Bring the kids, bring the wife, bring the girlfriend, bring them both. Just don't bring alcohol or a need to act like a jackass or you will be dealt with accordingly with Goochland's finest and/or Va State Police who will be present as they are all good customers of ours!

Starting at 9pm I will be dyno'ing anyone at a first come, first serve basis. Don't roll in at 1am and expect to get on though. Usually by 11pm or so I've already made my list of who will run and who was too late. I can usually get in about 10-12 cars.

I will do a special rate of $60 for 3 pulls with air/fuel readings and printouts. The normal, everyday, average guy rate is $75 for 3 pulls...zomg what a deal! During SATS there will be no additional time given for tuning or parts changing unless I specifically tell you it will be allowed....so don't plan on it unless you've spoken to me. Even then depending on how busy we are I may change my mind one way or the other. Tipping your friendly dynocologist is always highly recommended and might juts get you an extra pull!

Directions:

If coming from Richmond or from the southside by Rt. 288, via 64:
- Take 64 West towards Charlottesville. (Those taking Rt. 288, take it until it dead ends at 64 West.)
- Get off Exit 173 Rockville/Manakin.
- At the top of the exit ramp take a left at the stoplight.
- Follow that road (Ashland Rd./Rt. 623) down until you see a Valero gas station on your right. Take that right onto Plaza Drive.
- After you are on Plaza drive, Performance Autosport is the 2nd building on the left...in the back.

If coming from Charlottesville via 64:
- Take 64 East towards Richmond.
- Get off Exit 173 Rockville/Manakin.
- At the top of the exit ramp take a right at the stopsign.
- Follow that road (Ashland Rd.) down until you see a Valero gas station on your right. Take that right onto Plaza Drive.
- After you are on Plaza drive, Performance Autosport is the 2nd building on the left...in the back.

If coming from the Beach/757 area via 64:
- Take 64 West towards Richmond
- Get onto I-295 North/Exit 200 towards Washington (If you hate yourself you could just stay on 64 and go through Richmond).
- Take 295 all the way until it ends, dropping you back off onto 64 West. Exit 53a
- Get off Exit 173 Rockville/Manakin.
- At the top of the exit take a right at the stopsign.
- Follow that road (Ashland Rd.) down until you see a Valero gas station on your right. Take that right onto Plaza Drive.
- After you are on Plaza drive, Performance Autosport is the 2nd building on the left...in the back.

See y'all there! It's been a long time since we've done this, but I expect a very large crowd. As everyone knows in Richmond there are really no places to hang out any more. I'm giving everyone somewhere to be for one night.

I have a hunch there may be a certain "mousy" badass that may be creating a gross display of horsepower...but perhaps I'm wrong. Guess we'll see.
