Sweet, so far, more people are going than i would have expected. The weather looks like it SHOULD be nice, but knowing this area, shit changes.

Gene, i'm assuming you can tune k-pro? I'm REALLY new to it. My car has been dyno tuned, but now with the addition of an exhaust (no open header), and an intake filter as opposed to an open velocity stack, my air/fuels are a bit out of whack. I'm doing some datalogs and tuning the air/fuels this week, but i may change the setup yet AGAIN at the track with open header (if you're even allowed, i cant remember), and the velocity stack... That way i'll have a 'street' and 'strip' tune saved. *edit* ill have my laptop in the car all day as well

Let me know what cars you're gonna be toying with while you're there. I wouldn't mind peeking over your shoulder while you're making changes if you didnt mind. as i said, im still really new to this and VERY interested in learning at least the basics


Those of you who are going... interested in meeting up in this area and cruising out that way?

ill be there hopefully in a few weeks for another friday night shootout. I use to go there all the time in the summer, i didnt know any of the odu guys roll that far down

 

/\ you do now... like i said, i havnt been in a while, but i've got this car setup now and have GOTTA see what it's got in it

 

I live in Williamsburg about half way between odu and the track, one day ill get all the odu people together for a cookout possibly before the track on a friday.

 

Is it easier to get around the water box these days?
