Hey guys and girls... I wanted to post up about a special we are running to try to increase awareness for the great program the US Marine Corps do for young children. I personally ran this special about 4 years ago and we donated over $2000.00 in less the 2 months. I am excited to do this again! As you are shopping for yourself or friends, think about those who would also enjoy a shiny new toy this holiday season.

As we approach the holiday season and we are out doing our Shopping, sometimes we forget about those who may not get any toys this year. Here at Pro-Motion Tuning, we have decided to make a change to this for existing customers. We will be offering customers the ability to help out a great organization and have a chance to get a shiny new present themselves.

Details are as follows:

We will be offering 150 tickets available for $5.00 each. After 150 tickets are sold, a donation will be made to Toys For Tots in the amount of $200. All the tickets will be entered into a drawing and one will be picked. The winning ticket will receive a $500 Gift Certificate to our Online store. Once the Gift Certificate is used, all the profits from the sale will also be donated to Toys for Tots in a seperate donation.

U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program

MISSION:

The mission of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to needy children in the community in which the campaign is conducted.

GOAL:

The primary goal of Toys for Tots is to deliver, through a shiny new toy at Christmas, a message of hope to needy youngsters that will motivate them to grow into responsible, productive, patriotic citizens and community leaders.

OBJECTIVES:

The objectives of Toys for Tots are to help needy children throughout the United States experience the joy of Christmas; to play an active role in the development of one of our nation's most valuable natural resources - our children; to unite all members of local communities in a common cause for three months each year during the annual toy collection and distribution campaign; and to contribute to better communities in the future.

ACTIVITIES:

The principal Toys for Tots activities which take place each year are the collection and distribution of toys in the communities in which a Marine Corps Reserve Unit is located and in communities without a Reserve Unit that has a Marine Corps League Detachment or group of men and women, generally veteran Marines, authorized by Marine Toys for Tots Foundation to conduct a local Toys for Tots campaign. Local Toys for Tots Campaign Coordinators conduct an array of activities throughout the year, which include golf tournaments, foot races, bicycle races and other purely voluntary events designed to increase interest in Toys for Tots, and concurrently generate toy and monetary donations.

Notes: Donation will be made by Pro-Motion Tuning, LLC to Toys for Tots via Credit Card at the end of the 150 tickets. This is limited to 150 tickets per drawing. If the response is big, we will offer another drawing to continue to support the Toys for Tots.
