odu car club startup??
the school ususally needs a reason to sponsor a club, they have to get something out of it and it has to make them look like they are promoting things that will build our futures.
For instance, JMU sponsors JMU Motorsports because they have quite a few members that participate in HPDE and compete in a couple different clubs of road racing.
You might need to think of something a little better than just a group of guys who like to put on rims, exhaust and FMIC on their cars to cruise around together in.
It seems like the majority of the car ppl here prefer domestics. To make it worse, they are the type that want to have some type of fued with cars that aren't American.

you can't just have a "meet" on campus without any go ahead. That lot is definately large enough though. Maybe it can be set up so that once or twice a month on sunday afternoon that lot could be borrowed for a "odu meet". That lot will be empty and hampton blvd won't be to terrible. i'd be down for this as long as people are calm. I hear tires squeelin in the parking garage on the daily. If these people are left out this whole idea might be worth the effort.
ok guys well thanks for all the feedback but we actually gotta get something together. ive been talkin to some people too and we are down for a meet or two in the upcoming weeks. go onto myspace and search for the email address oducarclub07@yahoo.com and add it so i can keep a list of ppl i should keep up to date. thanks
