The 5th annual Big Boy Toy Show is right around the corner: Come out Saturday, June 23rd - 10am-6pm to the Fredericksburg Expo & Conference Center . In addition to the "Big Boy Toys" on display from a variety of vendors that will represent the things that guys want to see, expect a variety of entertainment, tournaments, car show and activities.

A Brief List of Expected Categories:
Beverage Companies , Wineries • Home theater equipment
Adventure Trips (canoeing, kayaking, paint ball, etc.)
Exercise Equipment, Fitness centers • Poker Supplies

i think this is mostly a redneck event. this is what ive heard from people who have gone. no love for imports

 

Somewhat true, but, if we can get a good enough turn out of some good cars and good people, maybe we can begin to sway the negative perception of the "tuners". Hell, the hard work and money that goes into an import versus that of the "redneck" crowd, is pretty much equal.

But again, the people who show have to remember that they are representing an entire "culture" if you will, so, let's hope no dumbasses show and ruin it for everyone!

I hear that about the fairgrounds! My mom is the Mgr. @ the Star Radio Group (Free Lance Star, WFLS, WYSK, etc.) and she is a HUGE car freak. But, after a few years of her and my dad working these shows they come away pissed off that none of the imports show up. My mom loves the tuner cars, my dad, eh, more of a domestics guy, but definitely appreciates the craftsmanship that goes into the tuners. So, she asked if I could get the word out to the VADriven crew and see if they could represent this year. I think it's time for a change at car shows! More diversity is needed, I'm so F-in tired of the same old ass hot rods showing up w/ chrome everywhere!

Good deal man, I am hoping that this posting helps out. I've been in this game for a long time. I've been through alot of cars, both domestic and imports, so, I just want to see the people from the import world get the recognition they deserve for their cars. And, I think by showing up and representing as best we can, we can maybe sway the good 'ol mullet crowd!
