2007 National Corvette Challenge, Richmond VA
For those that are interested.... We have a HUGE event coming to Richmond Dragway in February. Imagine 100+ killer corvettes in one place. Not for show, but actually buring up the track!!!! This is NOT a Corvette Chrome exhibition. These vettes are mean! All years, twin turbos, superchargers, nitrous and n/a. From those 'slow' 13 second vettes to 7 second rockets!!!
If you want to participate, let me know. If you want to come see some killer cars, mark it on your calendar and come on out!!!
CAM - Carolina Auto Masters is the leading sponsor, but there are many more listed on the website below.

If the question is what organization will benefit, some of the car show proceeds will go to a an oraganizaiton that has not been named as of yet because the show details are not ironed out.
Otherwise, the racers benefit as the more Corvettes the bigger the payout
Wow, interesting posts here. Why does it need to benefit some organization? Did the Import/Domestic at MIR benefit anyone? How about all the other races that go on around here? And, just because we have Corvette's makes us have big egos?
There are numerous cars on this site that have more money in them than my car. Hey, i have a pretty fast car, but I suck at driving the strip. I plan on getting my couple runs in and watching the rest of the day.
Hey, if it is not your thing, great! Dont bother. But, if you are into some really fast cars, come check it out
P.S.
Sorry for all the posts. I just never think to check this section and thought some people might be interested.
