VTEC Solenoid.... It will be cleaned and wrapped carefully. I know a decent amount about them. What do you need to know?

What year car is this going into? OBD2 Vtec is D16Y8 OBD1 is D16Z6

If your car is 92-95 then you run a P28
If your car is 96-00 then you run a P2P or convert to P28 witha conversion harness 96-98 uses a conversion harness OBD2A-OBD1 and 99-00 uses OBD2B-OBD1

It all depends on what year car you have. What head and block are you using?

So you have OBD2B. If you are using a D16Z6 head from a 92-95 then you'd need a P28 and a conversion harness. If you are running a D16Y8 head from 96-00 then you use a P2P and no converson harness. I converted my old 2000 civic and I have the harness and the P28 I can sell you.
