Ex does come with the vtec engine. BUt I think Ant is looking for a 5spd swap. But the Auto motor would be excellent if Ant want to find a tranny to mate it with.

ive got a 5 speed tranny that was behind a zc in a crx..thats a 1.6 tranny also correct?

Off the top of my head I don't remember if that motor from the crx is a 1.5 or 1.6. If its says like d15xx it would be a 1.5. And like d16y8 it would be a 1.6. Any d-series tranny should work. I just don't know what's the difference amongst the different d series trannies. Maybe just gear ratios. But I don't think ant would use this for racing purposes right buddy?

a crx is 1.5 unless its an si then its a 1.6

Cuz ZC do come in sohc and dohc if I'm not mistaken. But the crx I think came with the sohc. So it should work mr. NFtuaTn.

I believe you are correct sir. As long as its single cam it should work though. You happen to know if its a cable or hydro tranny though? Think ant is lookin for a hydro.
