Name: Charles
Location: NOVA
Means of contact: PM
Price: I don't know what they're worth.
Description: Would like to supercharge my 93 Civic EX and am starting my search for the kit. I know they are no longer made and hard to find complete but this is really what I want to do. Re: D16 JR Supercharger
the amount of money you will spend on getting maybe 150hp out of the s/c isn't worth it... you could spend around the same and go bseries and get that amount then save up and boost the b. i had a jrsc on a ls in my old hatch and it dyno'd at 174ftlbs and 183whp. plus i had to tighten the tensioner almost everyday it would never stay and always squeel. once the ls gave out, i spent the less than what i did on the s/c to build a b16 turbo setup and put down 270whp...
just a lil advice from someone that has done both and the in my opinion turbo is the way to go, parts are easier to find aswell

Re: D16 JR Supercharger
Well befor you step in looking like an ass you assume I don't know shit about Honda's. I understand I'm not going to make big power and I know better then anyone around my way that more power is to be had with turbo's and dual cams but at the end of the day i just want to do it to do it. It's my personal choice and I've already been over everything else. Go preach your shit to some newb and fuck off. Tired of the ignorant ass holes on this forum. I'm here to sell, trade, and buy parts i don't need little girls who think there pro stock trying to tell me why what I want to do is wrong. Its not your car and its not your money so again, GO FUCK YOURSELF and please stay out my threads. Thank you and have a pleasent day!

Re: D16 JR Supercharger
Thank you.
Ya I saw it in Tampa in one of those old school Civic Wagons and thought it was pretty neat. Dude said it aint crazy fast or nothing but it makes having a single cam bearable and you don't have to run as much shit as with a turbo and it's good for the daily grind. I was in a sower mood when I bumped it last. Just think it would be fun.
