D-series VTEC head and block
Location: Chesterfield

I'm trying to clear up some space in my garage and have no use for these, so I'm selling a D16z6 cylinder head and a D15b8 shortblock.
The head is in great condition; it has brand new viton valve stem seals, i lapped the valves prior to reassembly, polished up the exhaust ports with high grit and did the intake ports with 120 grit (a little bit of turbulence is good to enable better mixture of air and fuel) and polished up the cylinder domes a bit to prevent carbon buildup. I checked all of the valves individually, none of them are bent. All journals are fine as well, none are scoured.
The shortblock could use some rings; when I ran compression on it before I pulled it from the car, one of the cylinders was around 120 psi, the rest were between 165-175. It ran pretty well though, everything else on it is fine. It has 4 valve reliefs per piston.. i know some of the b8 blocks do not have that
SOLD
