Default FS/FT: 2000 Z28 383/M6 16K mi $14K obo

CAR IS SOLD!!!!!!!

Hello folks! I am loathe to give up my baby, but I bought a 2004 Z06, so I'm trying to consolidate the vehicle fleet. I'm currently in Kuwait, but will be home soon and wanted to see if I could sell to an enthusiast. Please don't bother unless you are serious and, since I don't need to sell the car, try not to lowball me too bad...

What we have here is a one-owner (me) 2000 Z28 that I special-ordered and picked up through Nimnicht Chevy in Jacksonville, FL. It is a "stripper" with only these options:
Rear-defroster
Hurst shifter
Monsoon stereo
Speed-rated tires
The car had less than 2 miles on it when picked up.

The Good:
She only has 16xxx miles on her and was garage-kept until I bought a Z06 in9/07. She now sleeps under a car-cover.
Roof clearcoat TSB performed and looks perfect.
Never involved in any accidents, clean title in my posession.
Doesn't burn oil and I use Mobil 1 every 1500mi (car sits a lot).
Currently fully-inspected/registered/tagged, but has no cats if that is an issue...

The Bad:
Couple of stone chips, scratches and swirls, but nothing remotely crazy.
No back seat...sold it long ago.
Few marks in carpet and mounting holes for bottle.
Hood needs some prep and paint (I'm just lazy).
Could use a FAST 90/90 set-up...

The Sick:
Forged 383 with:
TEA 5.3 1.5 heads with 2.05 intake 1.60 exhaust
Forged Dimond pistons approximate compression 11.2 to 1 with current heads
Forged Eagle Rods 6.125 inch
Forged Eagle Crank
Rotating assembly balanced by Evans Automotive
Comp Cams XER 612/244/112 +4
Rollmaster Timing chain
TSP oil pump
Recent SD tune with excellent street manners
466rwhp/455rwtq with a pretty flat curve

TNT F1 wet-kit (with only 3 bottles through it!):
Upgraded "Power-Ring"
Currently 100shot jets, but have jets for 75 & 150 also...
Bottle-heater
Purge through cowl (plume follows windshield angle)
MSD window-switch

SPEC 3 clutch (about 1800mi ago)
Hooker coated headers
"BorlaMouth" exhaust
ASP pulley
LS6 intake with P/P TB
30lb SVOs
SLP lid
Granatelli loop/brace
BMR PHR and LCAs
T&A diff cover
Strano Bilsteins
Eibach Sportlines
Suncoast Creations SS Hood
Painted GM SS 17x9s
New 275/40 Kumhos
Inline 255l/h pump
Pro 5.0 Shifter
FTRA
Tubular SFCs
Cross-drilled/slotted rotors in front with new ceramic pads
White-face gauges
2-point STB
New Bosch O2 sensors

Audio:
Alpine H/U
Infinity 6.5s in doors and sail-panels (no hatch speakers)

I've jumped in the Z28 and driven to FL and back multiple times and averaged about 25mpg. I wouldn't hesitate to drive to CA tomorrow...
A/C blows cold, car handles great and is a blast to drive.
Located in Chesapeake, VA 23323 $14,000 OBO

I'd be willing to trade for a reliable A4 muscle/sports car. Turbo Buick, 5.7 3rdGen, LT1 Impy...something like that.

It's THAT clean guys and gals... Here's a message-board comment (name witheld to protect the innocent ) about my Z28:

"I absolutely can not believe you are even considering selling that thing! LOL, now what do you have planned?
I swear there must have been nights you slept in that thing!
Did you ever even bring it to the track?

This is one very, very nice car for someone that has been extremely well built and very well taken care of for a price lower than what people have been asking for nearly stock ss's.
I seriously wish I didn't have so many vehicles right now. It is not easy to find one with that few miles, much less in that condition or that built.

Good luck Ben, really sorry to see you get rid of it."

Alot of folks asking that, sooo....

BTW, to answer some questions I've gotten:
I've never sprayed the current engine, so I don't have nitrous dyno #s. My old H/C/N made 576rwhp/590rwtq on the 100shot, so I figure the new set-up should easily hit 625+ on the 150 jets.
I can provide a list of respected shops that have seen/worked on the Z28 via PM or e-mail.
Yes, it still has the factory 10-bolt...

Thanks for the kind words and always nice to see another local Z06.

Thanks! I've got some tire-kickers, but nothing serious yet. I'm in no rush and can always keep her...

Heh. Thanks for the kind words. I don't drive the Z28 very much, hence the low miles and why more people haven't seen her around.

Personally, I think $14K for a 1-owner, 466rwhp car that drives superbly, has never been in an accident and only has 16K miles is a steal.

If she doesn't sell, I'll just go FAST 90 and a 12-bolt and start seeing what she can do on the strip... Thanks again!
