****SALVAGE TITLE****

This car was crashed (Motor was not touched at all) and was rebuilt and working as if it was new
***Only problem is that a new door was installed because of the crash and the key does not match with it this new door but the remote will still unlock it

ok heres what happened

i bought the car crashed with a salvage title
fixed the car up
sent my salvage title to this one guy that turns salvage titles into rebuilt titles
then the guy dissapeared and never showed up again
now im left with the car all fixed up and with no title and do not know what to do

i now just want to sell it

You don't know what to do??? You go to the DMV and get a replacement title. After that you have the DMV inspect it and issue a Repaired/Rebuilt title.

Also, who is this guy you sent the title to to get the title changed over to a rebuilt title? Did you really think anyone other than the DMV and one of their inspectors could do that?

yeah your right i dont know why i gave him the title without making sure what i was doing
well the title was still under the previous owners name still
i never got to go to the dmv and put it under my name
now i dont know what to do with the car with no title and now to just sell it and get it over with

what was hit on it? if it had a rebuilt title before, you should be able to go to the DMV to get a title, and not even have it inspected. I'm confused. Was it salvage or rebuilt title when you bought it? Did you fix it or did the previous owner?

Also now seems like it will be a situation where the car is going to be registered under someone elses name.

it was hit on the driver fender and the driver door and if i can get a clean or rebuilt title i wont need to sell it then because this car is BRAND NEW still smells fresh with only 8,000 miles! and runs like new

i bought it crashed and the motor wasnt even touched at all! with a salvage title
