** I am listing my father's Z16 Corvette for sale for him, please PM me for his contact information if interested. I can be emailed at bcbowe@wmalumni.com, but PM is best. **
It is time to find another home for my 2004 Z16 Z06. We have been a Corvette Family for some time now. My wife, my son and I, all Corvette Drivers, have thoroughly enjoyed the likes of the Cruise-In’s in Bowling Green, Corvettes @ Carlisle, local gatherings and the like. It has been a shared family passion, and we will always have a Corvette in the family. I suggest you go to www.Z16.org to see what this car is all about.
I purchased this car from the original owner on June 16, 2006 with 13,666 miles on the odometer. It is now showing 19,508 miles. The vehicle ID # is 1G1YY12S445122684. It is the 767th car built out of a total of 2,025. The car has been garaged and maintained flawlessly. Since I have owned the car, there have been no maintenance issues. The 5,842 miles I have put on the car include road trips to Bowling Green, Carlisle, local Corvette Shows and two novice class HPDE’s at Virginia International Raceway (VIR). All systems are in perfect working order.
The exterior cosmetics are in great shape. There are a few very small rock chips in the paint from normal driving. I took great care to cover the nose, rocker panels, and areas behind each wheel the two times I had it at VIR. The interior is perfect as I have a C5 creations lycra center arm rest cover on at all times and Husky brand molded floor liners to keep the carpets free of any dirt or wear.
I have done several modifications to the car:
*Elite Engineering Thermal ABS Tunnel Plate
*Elite Engineering brushed aluminum catch can
*Elite Engineering aluminum gas pedal
*C6 Z06 Shifter Assembly from GM
*Leather "short boot" shifter Boot from Vette Essentials (all black)
*Rocker Rails from A&A Corvette
*Front Brake Duct and Fender Screens from WCC
*Skip Shift Eliminator from WCC
*Travel Buddy extra cup holder from WCC
*Brakelight red rear bumper lettering kit from Mid America Motorworks
*Molded floor liners from Husky Liners
*Halltech Stinger cold air intake with red air bridge
The car can easily be returned to stock if desired. I do have the factory body side moldings for the car as well; my son and I took great care removing them. The engine, exhaust, and drivetrain are all OEM stock.
The tires on the car are Kumho ECSTA MX’s in the stock sizes. They were put on the car in July of ’06. They have roughly 5,299 miles on them. There is no unusual wear.
I have all the history information on the car. You will find a clear car fax report on the car. I will be happy to answer any questions you might have.
The asking price as it currently sets is $33,000.
