1999 Mercury cougar $1200
PRICE DROP now $1000
1999 Mercury cougar 1200 OBO
Name- Russell
Car- 1999 Mercury cougar
miles- 19*,***
price- 1200 OBO
trades- Civic hatch
location- chesapeake
I have my 1999 Mercury cougar that i am trying to get rid of. just bought a station wagon for the wife so i'm selling her cougar to get me a hatch. It has some 19*,*** miles on it. Its a V6 with power everything. Now the problems. The flywheel is missing a tooth or something cause sometimes when you try to start it, it will grind. then you try again and it will start (flywheel=$50.00). Newxt it is missing a little chunk out of the front passenger side of the bumper (bumper=$0; junkyard). next there is something grinding it the hub assembly on the front driverside. dont know if its the CV or what. it isnt really affecting the drivability but it makes some noise and im sure eventually it will be a problem (hub assembly= 55.00)(cv axle=$57.00)and lastly it needs a couple in's and out's; brake pads, tires, recharge the A/C. those are the only problems with it. and with all of those things taken care of it will pass inspection with no problem and be a perfect running car. If you have any questions let me know and i will try and answer them the best that i can. And if you want pics of any part of the car i can text them to you if you text me. My number is 757-897-2419. Now thats ou tof the way, my price is 1200 OBO. KBB rates it at 1,345 so i'm taking a little bit off. the only trade i will accept is a running civic hatch, preferably late 80's, and if i'm lucky with a working b-swap. please dont offer any other trades. ONLY a running, moving (like the cougar) civic hatch. Can't get pics to work right now so i will post some later. but i have some saved on my phone so text me if you want to see them.
NEW: I have bought the CV axle, new rotors, and the hub and bearing assembly which i will either A: put in the car and jack up the price, or B: Give to trade that is worth it.
