1968 Chevelle Malibu : Runs great and a excellent project restoration or drag car
I purchased the car 3 years ago, due to other commitments I just don’t have the time needed to dedicate to this project.
The car has been garage kept before and after my purchase. It runs great has a freshly built V-8 350 that has a cam with good lope and a fresh built transmission with 12 bolt gm rear 4:10 gears. The brake system is 4 wheel drum with no power assist.
The body paint is primer yellow the interior consists of a drivers seat only, dash, add on gauges, and B & M shifter. All sheet metal has been replaced and there is no rust in body or frame.
Goes on ebay Friday the 9th till sunday the 18th of april. Starting bid is 8k, reserve is at 8,500 buy it now is gonna run 10k. I paid just over 11k for the car. Really is worth every penny in my opinion.
Additional work recently completed:
* Replaced all the body bushings and front control arm bushings
* Front springs and ball joints
* Replaced the headers
* Running open headers right now. The exhaust flanges need to be re-angled to fit the new headers.
Numerous parts will go with the sale, some of them are:
* Rear bench seat
* All glass except for a windshield
* Most molding
* Both bumpers
* Door Panels
* Original 1968 license plates.
* All Front end hardware new in box along with hood hinges
Any questions feel free to ask. I also have a couple videos of the car running while on my trailer they are from when the car still had exhaust on it so you will get a good idea of what it sounds like. Really a good project.
