Buy it. A buddy of mine just got rid of his 04 Gix6 basically the same except he had a full Yoshi for 4K with low miles, so it's definitely possible for there not to be a "catch" with the bike. Just make sure you ride it before you actually pay him. If he won't let you ride it and you have the cash/check in hand then I wouldn't do it. That's how bad shit gets started.

Think I saw the ad for the bike in question, sounds pretty good, guy is having a kid so he's selling the bike, sounds like a good enough reason for the price.

I'm no expert... and this is just my personal opinion, but I think bikes are way way over priced and its crazy to pay as much for a new bike as some small cars cost. Maybe this guy just thinks the same way I do and doesn't realize that he could sell it for a lot more because the market exists?

No unfourtunately like i was telling oNi. The owner never returned any of my calls to even tell me if the bike was sold or not. Kind of unprofessional but what ever. the ad was taken down as well so now im looking at some alternatives.

First link says post was deleted. As for the second one I'd say it looks like a pretty damn good deal. I love those bikes, they handle great and good power for a 600 too.
