Where's the best place to get a helmet?
It's been a few years since I've bought a helmet and I was just wondering what sites or places would you guys recommend getting a helmet from. What I did before was go to Colemans, try out a bunch of helmets, then go online and shop for the best price. I currently have an Arai RX-7 Corsair but I would like to hear from those who rock AGV, Shoei, KBC, etc...

hjc - depends on model i guess, they are heavy and noisy

Re: Where's the best place to get a helmet?
guess i'll add my opinion here too. i have a suomy, best freaking helmet i've ever owned. very very light, quiet, no buffeting (very important when you ride nekkid bikes like mine) vents awesome, and is really comfy. just can't wear it in the winter, my head would freeze. i wear an hjc when it's cold. it's heavier, but alot warmer. not too bad as far as comfort goes i guess.
used to have an arai, i hate arai's now, compared to what i have now, they feel like a giant sponge stuck on my head. alot of people seem to like em though.

Thanks for the input guys but I went ahead and ordered an Arai Quantum. I found a killer deal on a replica that matched my gixxer.
I'll have to try a Soumy Helmet the next time I am at Colemans.

werd. just a word of advise from a suomy owner though, they always fit pretty tight at first, but they break in nicely.
