The only auto x style track I'm aware of in VA is VIR. I figure there's got to be another track like this somewhere in va or Maryland. I'm looking for something "relatively" close to Richmond. Somewhere I can go to on weekends to take the bike and use it for what it was meant for. Anyone?

Not really clost to richmond these are the only ones i can think of, there is Summit Point in West Virginia . From where i am they are both about 4 hours away from me. There is also New Jersey Motorsports Park which is about 6 hours. I have not ridden any of these tracks.....yet hopefully soon though. There were rumors about a track getting built close to williamsburg but i think that has been shut down

Thanks streetsk8er, info dully noted. I've heard good things about summit point, I'll have to make plans for it this summer. Just too bad we don't have anything much closer.

And 2 the other posters, werd. Gotta open that throttle up ever so often and show da peeps u mean bizness, rite. 80 on broad, pfft, 150 is the real deal.

Yeah I checked them out. Good prices and closest track other than Nesba's VIR events.
