Depends on what you mean by "normal" street riding.
If I'm on the highway and looking to save some gas I'm in 6th as soon as possible. I'll be in 6th doing 35mph if I have to!!!!
But if I'm out having fun on my way to work I'll shift at just about 6k.
Now if I'm out on a weekend ride I'm not shifting till I have to......................
