A lot of people would turn their noses up at Cortech/Tourmaster... so stop being elitist.

I'm not a big fan of Icon either, personally, but I do agree that something is better than nothing. I'd feel much better knowing someone went down in Icon gloves than none at all (or dirtbike style gloves for that matter).

I've had a good experience with Dainese gloves in the past but they have been pretty hit or miss for me in terms of fitment. I often times find myself sort of in between sizes. Having a glove with fingertips just a tad too long makes me frustrated! Very frustrated. It's uncomfortable and seems to cause me to grab the bars more aggressively, which we all know is bad.

I have a friend on KF that has all of his Dainese gear tailered there too... Must be nice! In fact, it must be nice to be anyone who is able to get everything custom to their body. I look at a lot of these AMA and MotoGP guys who wear everything custom from head to toe, one off everything, completely fitted to their god damn body. For me, I've almost never been able to buy anything that was totally perfectly sized for me. Gloves can sometimes be about 1/2-1/4 too big or too small, jackets the same way... pants, of course... boots... yes... helmets, of course. The Suomy fits me great but I'm thinking about buying new cheek pads and another liner just to play around with fitment.

I just need to make friends with a GP guy...

Several of those guys are like fucking jockeys though! Little little little!

Really though, it would be cool to score a suit or some sort of gear they won a race in!

Alpinestars M4 Cheap and comfortable. Not too cold and not too warm. I wear the Ironclad Cold Conditions when is really chilly or windy.
