Smile are trikes welcome

Just wanted to see if anyone else had a 3 wheeler on this site, if not you do now!
My trike was built in 77 by my Dad. I will post pics soon as I figure out how.
It took my 10 years to track it down, found her in Clarksville, Fl.

When I fianlly got to talk to him, he said not for sale, When I told him it was my Dads and he built it and I had been looking for 10 yrs. He told me to come on down, that was different

Went down expecting the worse, and the old fart gave it to me!!!! I flipped out, no way. He was a good friend of my Dad and was glad to see me, I was a little girl 4 or so. Remembers me crawling all over it.

So she is now home and getting full resto.

Hope to meet and ride with some new folks.

I can only lift mine up on the wheelie bars with all wheels off the ground, depending on the cant of the road, lol first lesson learned !

welcome. the cycle corner is a rarity to the site, but try not to take things too seriously if you peruse other areas.

Yea, but not as much as you think, hell she only weighs 700 lbs, biggest problem is I want to move the battery box, got the box welded in and now my starter wont fit, grrrrr back to the drawing board.

If I could side mount it, hmmmmm machine shop here I come.

If you need any help welding give me a holler. I don't have a welder, but I've been doing it for work for about 3 years now. Also, over on SEVA (I seen you already signed up ), talk to Shane (EMCracing) and I'm sure he can help you figure out how to fab something if you want to take it to a shop.

Otherwise, welcome.

Thanks

Nope just a lot of git up and go.VW's have low torque SP?and will rocket, if I could keep the front end down. Have a few sises of wheelie bars. I used to want to drag her and they said i couldnt because of what it is??????

Told me i could solo, NO!!!!!!!! Once they put me up against a vw car??? NO
A bug is around 2700 lbs, 1600cc, well my trike is around 700-800 lbs and 1900cc, never stood a chance. I was so gone.

But once your up to 130 it gets real light in the front and tries to take off.

My Uncle was guiding it to garage. Next year she will be ready,
