You don't need pilot powers based on the riding style you mentioned. -- I got a set of Power Road 2CTs.. I love them. Have gotten decently low on them and haven't doubted them one bit. I might try a set of power pilots next time just to see if theres much of a difference, but more than likely I'll be back to the Roads the set after that. AND they're cheaper.

I am a Pirelli guy as well... since it doesn't seem your trying to push too hard I would go with Diablo Rosso's They are super sticky and will actually last a full season or 2 depending on how hard you ride!!!

the rosso is more of an aggressive tire mind you. the tire profile is higher giving you more s.a. while leaning.
i will warn you though, if youre not careful on these tires in the rain, youre pretty likely to get caught up. dont get me wrong.. they stick better than any tire ive been on and i agree with xlaox. i have never once had a problem with traction once those corsa's get warmed up. you really gotta try to get those things to slip, but with any tire i suppose.. rain presents a unique riding environment.

and shinko's are crap imo

Shinkos suck!!!!! The 003 had a flat spot within 1000 miles. Good for stuntin but they don't last at all. Like I said I love my corsa III. Get some n u won't go wrong

i rock the oo3s /oo16s and there the only tire other than the oo2s which are no longer made that will hold up for me..

coras are junk. i can spin the corsa iiis and the sps in the corners.. shit the sp's suck if its under 50 outside.. they dont heat up at all..

ill take my 002/003s anyday over the piece of shit corsas

I had Shinkos when I first started riding and everyone kept telling me to get Pilot Powers. I took their advice and even for a beginner I saw a huge difference. There was a huge difference just in the shape of the tire alone. The Shinkos are kind of a flat tire which is good for maybe a straight drag strip but the Pilot Powers are dual compound and nicely curved to make the twisties easier to lean with. I even saw someone posted a link to a set for cheap. If you buy your Pilots online you will spend the same amount as buying Shinkos locally.

I have the Bridgestone BT016's and I love them. Keep in my mind though that I swapped to these after the stocks wore out. I was looking for grip and also to get some miles out of them. The triple compound seemed legit and got some pretty good reviews on forums and in testing. I got them on sale (actually got the link from streetsk8r on here I think) and have been more than happy. I'd love to try the Pilot Powers out or the Corsa's but I'd need to find another deal to do that when these wear out. Otherwise I'm gonna stick with them.
