Im getting the black one (Raven). Oh and if anyone has a helmet for sale (must be black) let me know.
BTW- Im on a tight budget so don't bitch cause it's a cheap bike. Just let me know if its a good choice or not and why.

My friend just bought an 04 like a week ago. Pretty sweet looking bike. God I want a bike, but no garage pwns me. He's blue92 on here. You can PM and ask him his impressions on it.

You kill me, dude. You'll drop nine grand (after taxes and fees it'll be damn near $9,000) on a new bike and you won't spend a few hundred dollars on a decent helmet?! Your priorities are skewed my friend.
It's a nice bike for sure though.

Why not buy a one or two year old used bike if you're on a budget? You'll have money to spare and could purchase some nice gear. If you finance through someone like Navy Federal you could even finance your gear in the price of your bike.
My buddy bought an '03 R6 (same model if I'm not mistaken) for $5k not too long ago. It had like 4k miles on it and is in perfect condition.
As for used helmets, I don't know. I've always been leary on them. Do you really trust your head in something that someone else owned?
