so i broke down
clear out your pm box man, i just tried to send you one, and your box is full.
anywho, being that it still has stock forks, wheels, brakes, etc, i think 4k is a bit much. i could build that same bike for half that (in parts). i know labor isn't free, but the only real labor in that bike is the frame, the rest is just making brackets to mount the tank, seat, etc.
i'd try and negotiate with him a bit, and see if he'll come down.
is this the ''wide tire'' kit you were talking about? http://www.bwchoppers.com/mainsite/offset
yeah, but DO NOT deal with black widow choppers, ever. long story.
i know the guy that builds that kit for bwchoppers, if you wanted to go that route, i can set you up with him directly. i have his e-mail addy. matter of fact, he's who i just bought my offset sprocket from for my XS.
cool sounds good, I cleared my pm box btw. I told the guy I'd give him $3500 because I have to pay to ship it from Ohio and he said that he can't move down at all. Looks like I am just better off building my own. If I find a couple of donors, when do you think you would have time to rebuild the drivetrain for me if need be? Since I am dumb as shit with metrics I would rather have someone with much experience do the drivetrain for me. Also, I contacted dirtnap about building a frame and am waiting on a response from him.
that's a purty XS. looks like a cross between my current bike, and my first chop.
if you get ahold of dirtnap, tell him to call me. he's been MIA for a while.
i have 2 XS motors i have to rebuild for a friend of mine in the near future, so adding a 3rd one in the mix shouldn't be a problem. there's not much to rebuild, usually just freshening up the head, rings, etc. they've got ball bearing cranks, ball bearing cams, etc, so they're pretty bulletproof.

they're pretty comfy actually. had em on my old bike. i was actually going to run mini-apes on my current bike, but with the rake i have, they looked out of place.
