so i broke down
hey skrooz I have heard a few things. I was thinking about upgrading the rear on my 5hundy to a SV650 shock two but I was talking to my buddy Rodger last night who has raced AMA for the past few years and he told me that putting that rear shock on there esepcially if it raised the rear end was like having a death sentence. He said it will make me more liable to tuck the front end. He said I should go ahead and rebuild the front end but leave the rear alone. Opinion?
raising the rear (or lowering the front) will steepen up the front end angle. it'll make the bike turn in quicker, but it also makes the front end twitchy, and yeah, probably more likely to tuck the front. it depends on how much it actually raises the rear of the bike.
on a side note, anyone know somewhere local that i can get a friggin 14.4v skil battery pack? i'm having NO luck.
