late this evening, the vadriven member dave22 took a nasty spill on his bike coming down warwick blvd. He was available for commentary on the event:
Riding down Warwick (headed back to my car after the race) I hit a fucking hole in front of Harris Teeter. I was tired and not as alert as I should have been. Anyway, as soon as I hit it my front tire exploded and the handlebars twisted right out of my hands. Then it was a delicate ballet to the sidewalk from ~25mph.
Several cagers showed genuine concern.
So I lost a lot of skin on my right knee, leg and ankle. I bruised my right toe (?) and somehow managed ro rash the inside of my right ass cheek.
And I have two bits of asphalt still stuck in my right hand.
