this is for my buddy and i. My buddy recently bought a bike and he only has his perment. i also have a perment also. The question is do cops mess with ya enough for me to worry when i ride w/o a license only perment. today i road his bike and had a cop in front of me and behind me i kinda freaked but was like just stay cool and the drove off. if i can get some input that would be cool. thanks

 

i saw someone get pulled for not wearing a helmet, was just riding down the street and back, literally, with only a permit. he only got a ticket for not wearing a helmet

 

ok im not worryed about not wearing a helmet thats just stuppid.

thats cool. wheres this at too cuz va beach cops love to write tickets.

 

i hope while you have your permit and not following the rules you never have to lay it down, or get into a accident, or speed, or have a bulb out, or find a cop just having a bad day. the guy with the helmet got lucky, very lucky.

if your in an accident and only have your permit and no licensed rider with you, whether its your fault or not, good luck trying to get money from or insurance coverage again. there are more than enough legal riders to run with, i just can't justify the risk. good luck.

 

I have a question also: I am planning on changing the running light color on my bike (Gundam Green yo). Would that be illegal?

 

Yes.......it would be illegal just like the blue running light on my 600RR. I'm old though so I don't get bothered too much.

 

iv been pulled over several times and have gotten a improperly displayed liscense plate ticket.... they always just ask for my liscense so i hand it to them .. not once had they said anything about me not having my M - endorsment ..but that doesnt mean i would recomend not getting it .

 

I know blue and red are no-no colors, but Green? Well I will find out when i recieve them
