Questions about my self installation
Waddups guys! I installed my pipes today, but ran into what i think is a problem. First off, just so you know, I dont have torque screws, so i do everything till its nice and snug, or nice and TIGHT. This is where a small problem comes from: There is some air leaking from the connection point where the pipe clamps are. I'm not sure if this is normal or not, and im suspecting its not. However, i rode around with them on and didnt really notice a power loss, if anything i felt a little gain actually. And i love having some nice sound to the bike. They arent really loud, but they aint quiet either. I'll take pics in the mornin.
PS--They look fucking good!

make sure the slip fit is all the way in. the slots cut in the pipe to allow it to compress need to be fully covered to keep them from leaking.
most slip fit pipes (that don't use some sort of gasket) leak a lil bit. some people notice it, some don't.
