Default power commander

think i need to get it. 99 gsxr750 with d&d slipon and k&n airfilter. running lean and tired of it. anybody know my options? isn't there one that you can adjust from the device itself instead of hooking up to a laptop? any info would be much appreciated...thanks

they are all adjustable from the unit, but to really get it dialed in correctly you need to have it dyno tuned with an a/f meter... i believe your year gsxr takes the PCII... but i would try putting in a stock air filter and see if that helps, there aren't many suzukis that respond well to K&N's, even with mapping we've had problems getting them to run right because you just can't add enough fuel to compensate for the extreme lean mixture

i just dropped the k&n in because it started with the stock filter. i even tried putting the stock exhaust back on and resetting the computer, but no go. so, i think i need the power commander if i really want to fix this problem. been looking on the website and i'm a little confused...it shows maps for certain exhausts and certain riding, but none really match my needs. is there a way to set it regardless and are the maps free downloads? thanks for any info

if they dont' have one for you you'd just have to get one custom made, ie dynotuning
