power commander
so i got me a gsxr 600 im pretty new to the bike scene. its got a two brothers exhaust a header and a power commander and its been stretched. i was just wondering what exactly that power commander can do.

the power commander is just for tuning the fuel system, pretty much the same thing as a jet kit on a carb'ed bike, it just does the changes electronically, instead of physically changing jet sizes. the only way you're going to get it tuned for MAX power is with a dyno and an O2 sniffer. not saying that ready-made maps are crap, far from it, but they're a bit generic.
