id really appreciate that man. im looking for a step by step kind of thing (ie. what grit to start with etc, if i should use stripper first). i dont wanna start too heavy and go to deep. also i was wondering what polish to use when im done sanding so i get max shine in the end
heres a thread from cycleforums.com if anyone else is interested.

Here's the link man. Not sure if this one says to use the Easy Off oven cleaner or not... but i didnt use that, i went to wal-mart and purchased a few stripping wheels.. the Brown ( reddish brown ) and the Black and used those to remove the anodizing from the frame. It takes time and patients and a fair amount of both, just take your time, keep the pressure EVEN and good luck. OH BTW.. when you get into wet sanding... I used a kitchen sponge to wrap the sand paper around ( the kind of sponge that gets hard when it dries up ) this way you can apply the even pressure to prevent the metal from having a wavy look to it.

OH yea... check out www.caswellplating.com for all the buffing wheels and such. They have good prices. Make sure you get a few of each for when you f-it up and have to redo it... dont think you wont... heh.
