newbie Track
Not saying to buy a $6k 600 thats SS legal. There are often of gs500's, ex500's and other stuff thats perfect for newbies on there for less than $2k.
while a 194hp gsxr1000 with ohlins suspension may not be the best bike for a new track rider, i see NO problem buying a track bike with rearsets, bodywork, clip-ons, maybe suspension.. ect already on the bike. it saves a lot of money in the long run. i think it would actually be wise.
and if you are serious about riding on the track and already know how to ride, dont be shy about getting a 600 track bike, just dont ride over your head. plus, in beginner groups on trackdays you really dont have enough time to REALLY get over your head with speed..
thats my 2 cents atleast..
