So I went out this weekend and bought the bike that I have been looking at for the past few months. It is a brand new 2008 left over from last year, so I was able to get it for a really good deal.

I have a few minor plans for the bike in the near future. I will be getting a new exhaust to get rid of the hideous pipes on there now. I will also be getting a fender eliminator and smoked windscreen, along with some other minor things.

man.. that exhaust is ugly... lol.... Get a tinted / smoked double bubble you will like it alot more. You should have a stock steering stabilizer... so you should be ok.. there.. I would put some thicker oil in it.. but that is just me. And look into some adjustible levers... they are GREAT!

Jealous. I love the 07 - 08 GSXR 1000's. You'll find a lot of people on here who don't like GSXR's, but don't worry about them. 07 600 here!

A friend had an 07 1000, with just a slip on he put down 172hp (IIRC) on a very conservative dyno.

I'm not partial to the blue and white but it looks great!
