it never ends....
I guess I can't ever leave anything alone
Since I have to get my tank repainted, I figured now would be a good time as any to put a fender on the bike and do some other mods, and just get it all painted at once. Pics are just mock up. The fender started life as a stock front fender from a KZ440. I um... "modified" it, lol. It's not bolted down in the pics.
Sissy bar is from scratch, but I may re-do it in 1/2" bar stock. Right now it's 3/8".
Also got a set of 34 mikuni VM roundslide carbs on the way, and I'm going to completely redo the forward controls and rear brake setup. Thinking of going back to a jockey shift/ foot clutch too.
As soon as I get my impala sold it'll be getting a 750cc piston kit, headwork, bigger valves, cam, and a one-off stainless exhaust
anyway, here's the pics of the fender/sissy bar as of tonight:

1964, sedan (4 door hardtop) all original except the wheels/tires, 77k miles, 283, auto w/ a/c.
runs fine, needs brake work and the hood and trunk lid need replaced, other than that, it's pretty solid. complete other than the back of the back seat. $1500, come and get it.
