the plugs arent that old maybe 6 months i had the tune up done in may. do you think that they could be causing the bike to run rich or is that the result of it running rich. caus i dont wanna waste $40 dollars on plugs and then have to bring it in anyway and then need new plugs again. im freakin pullin my hair out over this one. this sucks
i think the smilies say it all, except i cant find a cryin one

try cleaning them with gasoline and a fine wire brush... but as for is it bad plugs not burning the fuel, or too much fuel fouling the plugs your kind of talking the chicken or the egg, hard to say, but if your fuel pump is flowing 4x the recommended rate that sounds suspicious to me

you should look into the tank and see if your tank has any signs of rust, other than that it sounds like a mixture problem, prob got your jets clogged up, i had that prob at low rpms, they told me my tank lining had worn out and it was clogging the idle jets, your problem might be the other jets.

yeah both bike shops close to me said 8.99 a piece. 36.00 for the set. that why i didnt want to waste teh time and money doin it just to have to buy them again. thats also why i didnt want to take it in. if they charge double for spark plugs imagine what they will charge me to fix the problem. especially around christmas time.

sean yours actually takes the CR9E's which are 4.20$ retail, kwth8n's CR9E-H9s retail for $8.60 so 8.99 is normal... i probably have a new set laying around my garage left over from my F3, but i don't think it would be worth the drive
