my bike may be broken...
Just an experienced opinion having had to deal with korean/chinese motorcycles/scooters/atv's.
I haven't had much experience with Hyosung, just many many MANY other vehicles from that part of the world. Never had many good things to say about them. I wasn't trying to bash your bike. Who knows, maybe Hyosung stepped up and started building better quality stuff than thier homeland competitors.
Every experience I've ever had with korean/chinese vehicles has been pretty poor (hell, I used to work on DAEWOO's, lol). I'm glad you got it right though, and I'm glad you're happy with your bike again, that's all that really matters.
Still odd that the bike ran fine, then all of a sudden went to hell, all because of gas/carbs? That, from a practical perspective, doesn't make alot of sense. Generally speaking, if a bike sits long periods of time, it either won't start at all, or runs like complete crap, not runs fine then "all of a sudden" starts running horrible.
One of the worlds great mysteries I guess. Stranger things have happened.

all i can think is the gas broke down into some nasty shit, got stuck in a line or something somewhere and fucked shit up. doesn't really matter though, because it runs fine now. it's crazy, but i'm very glad it worked out.
i was literally about to drop about 200 bucks on a uhaul to truck the bike to the eastern shore after a couple attempts at borrowing a truck fell through. and the dealer likely would have charged me for cleaning out the fuel system/carbs as well.
