hey guys as the title says i just bought a 1983 honda cr480r (which is a dirt bike beast) anyways i got it cheap and it need some parts. is there any kind of cycle junk yard around or do i have to go to honda and pray they have the parts. i dont need anything really important im just looking to buy extra plastics , a new/ better condition seat/seat cover and maybe get some spare rim and tires...just incase

 

So I guess there are no bike salvage yards anywhere near by???

 

try proclass cycles in richmond, va, they are the only ones i know of... honda will most likely be discontinued, if not you'll end up paying more for a seat than you probably did the bike... ebay?, i looked in our catalogs this is what i found

CEET seat cover blue- $49.95
Maier plastics
front fender red or orange $44
rear fender $31 red or orange
side panels $55 red

and looks like they were only made 82-83 so you might want to verify the year although i doubt it matters for this stuff
