Default Indy GP: anyone going?

Sorry if this has been posted, been absent from this forum a bit lately. But I finally got around to buying my tickets and getting a hotel room for the GP race at Indy. Is anyone else from here going? Where are you staying, what stands are you sitting in?

The wife and I will be there in turn one.
Be sure to get tickets for the Indy mile flat track race too, (dirt). This is by far the most exciting form of motorcycle racing to see in person. It's the same weekend at the Indy fairgrounds scheduled around the MotoGP race. The Hayden's, Kenny Roberts, and other legends came up on the flat track.

As far as where I'm staying...it'll be the same place my wife and I stayed every year for the F1 race. Hampton Inn Southport. It's not too far from the track and the rates are good. You better get to booking. The F1 race filled that town up in a hurry the first year. Most of the teams will be downtown if that interests you. Be prepared to pay top dollar if anything is still available.

A friend had a hotel roomed reserved for me so luckily I've got that covered, its like five miles from the track, when I went to F1 in 04 we stayed like 10 miles out so it shouldn't be bad. Good call on the flat track though, I completely forgot about that, I actually worked with Mike Hacker for a while but he recently left, not sure if he's healed up enough to race again or not.
