Default How do you ride over Draw Bridges?

Today I went for a ride and decided to go across the James River Bridge for the first time since I've lived here. That bridge is freaking LONG. but, when I reach the metal part where the draw-bridge is, over the metal part of the bridge, my bike felt like it was sliding. The front wheel kept on feeling like its slipping. How do you guys deal with this?

the front and rear tires were just moving around in the areas between the grate. Some bikes and tires feel worse than others because of the design. My zx6r and drz felt ok on that part but a hawk gt I was riding scared the hell out of me on the JBR. It feels shitty going over those grates no matter what you do but just keep a steady speed, loosen up, don't hit your brakes and you should be fine

I bet that does suck on a bike, but hell when I had 315's on the back of my TA it sucked or if I caught any groove in the road.

Maintain a steady speed and a loose grip on the clip ons and you'll be fine. It's when you freak out and either brake or try and correct your front wheel by steering that you'll run into trouble.

Same thing with concrete/pavement that has been grated to be repaved at a later date.

It told you it does that in the manual when you get your learners permit. It also tells you how to handle it. Haha you didn't read it did you? None of my friends did.
