Default Help: Reset FI light

I have a 2006 GSXR 600, FI light is on. I shorted the wires and retrieved C00 code which I researched online means "no fault". I tried resetting it by disconnecting batter, pressing trip and mode button and no work at all. Does any one know how to reset them? Thank you...

pull the battery cables off the battery and hold them together for a few seconds. there's capacitors in the ecu that hold a charge, and shorting the battery cables together (while not hooked to the battery, obviously) discharges the capacitors and resets the ecu.

that trick works on just about any car/truck/bike/boat/whatever that has a computer running anything on it.
