Help: Reset FI light
I have a 2006 GSXR 600, FI light is on. I shorted the wires and retrieved C00 code which I researched online means "no fault". I tried resetting it by disconnecting batter, pressing trip and mode button and no work at all. Does any one know how to reset them? Thank you...

Re: Help: Reset FI light
pull the battery cables off the battery and hold them together for a few seconds. there's capacitors in the ecu that hold a charge, and shorting the battery cables together (while not hooked to the battery, obviously) discharges the capacitors and resets the ecu.
that trick works on just about any car/truck/bike/boat/whatever that has a computer running anything on it. |
Re: Help: Reset FI light
Yeah its not a problem I can definitely make a copy for you. Where are you located at I can meet you somewhere sometime or just mail it to you whichever you prefer!?!
