Default Haven't posted in awhile, got a new to me bike

I just got my bike about 2 weeks ago, a 95 900rr. Its rained every one of my days off since I got it, so Ive only got to ride it once so far! I have had plenty of time to clean and polish it though, lol.

This year I thought it was time to go bigger, So I got this...

Heres a pic of it from the day I got it, Ive painted the tank white already and Im waiting on my red vinyl to do the 2 wings on the tank and the honda wing decals

Also, I took the can off and polished that up nice and shiny, and cleaned the frame, subframe, swing arm, and all the other aluminum pieces, I'll have to get a new picture once this damn rain stops.

I wanted to put some flushmount signals on the front, so I got these since there is no model specific ones for this year RR. They're the LP medium size which fit the hole perfectly, BUT as you can see are way to long to sit flush on the outside and not stick out the other side about and inch or more, and you would have to cut your inner fairing. So what I'm doing is using LEDs. I cut the threaded part down about 3/8's of an inch to make it fit between the two fairings, and im going to use a white LED for the marker, and a yellow LED for signal. Just waiting for the LEDs to come in...

I was thinking the same thing. Looks killer, but loose the fairings and it will look 10 times better!
