Definately not the best time of year to be looking for a bike. The miles aren't an issue but you may want to view the bike in person and listen to how it runs. What shape are the tires in? Any leaks that you can see? Looks like a very clean, stock bike. That counts for a lot so it's definately worth a look. Since it's your first streetbike, are you going to be test riding it or will someone else be testing it? Find out if you like the power delivery. You might want something with more torque like an SV instead of the F4i but they are indeed great bikes. Good luck.

NADA is $4000. Wouldn't pay more than $3500.

Just keep looking, til you find a deal. You still have to pay for tags and registration and did you check insurance premiums?
