Gear
Well i was hoping to have some gear ordered and have it by this weekend but i had second thoughts about what i wanted. I was going to go the leather route, but i figure i'll save the cash till next season comes around then get it.
Anyway, im leaning towards the Alpinestars T-Stunt jacket. Which is shown here http://www.kneedraggers.com/details/521-ALP-TSTNT They also have a "air flow" version but with the weather getting chilly here soon, no need to purchase that either. What are your opinions? Good jacket? Semi warm on cool nights and not swealtering hot on 85 degree days?

Re: Gear
I like the joe rocket ballistic series myself. Mainly because they come in a textile material that is water repellant and you can insert a liner in there during the cold months and take it out during the hot ones, however, it is quite hot during the summer, thats why i just got a cheap summer jacket on the side.

Re: Gear
go to newenough.com and see what they have for closeouts that you like. Best deals on the net and the customer service is great. Figure about 3 days to get the jacket from when you order it. I'd get the vanson mesh jacket they have(I have one) and see what they have for leather. I bought my hjc leather jacket for $200 from them. There is no having 1 jacket for all season around here so its usually a mesh one and a leather one for most people. What size are you? I have a technic leather jacket(leather with perf chest and liner) and a JR atomic jacket(black and white size large) that I need to get rid of

Re: Gear
usually jackets come with removable liners, even the mesh ones used during the summer. look up the icon jackets, the daytona one looks nice. i'm planning on getting that one. just make sure that your jacket has a liner that can be removed for washing or for warmer weather. if worse comes to worse, wear a sweater under your jacket
