I just bought one, specifically a 2008 Ruckus.

Does anyone else have one? (any scoot/moped, not just a Ruckus) I don't otherwise know how to ride, I just got it to play with/learn on so that someday I can build the WhiteHouse CB750 cafe racer of my dreams, lol. (and not die on it).

why would you buy a scooter to learn.. just ride your bike really fast.. same effect

 

We have a family shared honda elite 70 for my sister and mom. The only time it's fun is when you take it offroad and over curbs.

 

I've been looking for a cheap ruckus or vespa to buy just for the hell of it for a while now.

there's actually a fairly active ruckus community out there and a lot of people are modding the hell out of them. Lots of cool stuff to get for them

 

Yeah, it seems to be mostly a west coast thing, but people do wild stuff to them. There's one with a 600cc swap that has a Youtube video.

a friend told me that mopeds and fat chicks are alike...they are very fun to ride untill your friends see you with one!!!

 

any one know of a place that will take a look at a broken scooter?
