Interesting, I didn't know that scoots needed tags in VA.
I guess it doesn't matter for me though, as I just ride IN VA sometimes, I don't actually live there (I'm in MD).

mine is only 50cc but its supposed to have a tag.
the rule is
50cc or less
stays under 35mph

there are some other minor things in the law but those are the biggies.
mine goes 55 so its supposed to have a tag and insurance, if i get caught going over 35 i can get a ticket

Just rode my friend's 09 ruckus! It was a freakin blast to ride it in his neighborhood!!! I might have to go check one out next week on my day off.....
